"WELCOME ALL, to the final round of the PokéBrawlers Tournament!"

Bryson Thunderclap's voice boomed through the small gray room containing Lucas the Croconaw. Why is that so loud? Lucas thought, It's like I'm standing outside.

"Tonight, we will be watching the incredible face-off between our two finalists, David Blaze," A cheer went up in the distance, "And Lucas Wheeler!" Lucas heard a cheer from his left, and the bit of hope that entered him was quickly replaced with nausea.

Lucas the Croconaw vs. Brennan the Absol

Lucas the Croconaw stood on a large chrome disc, in a brilliant waiting room for competitors in the second round of the tournament. Unlike the last arena, this one was entirely soundproof, Lucas's uneven breathing the only noise around.

Lucas jumped in surprise as the round platform began to rise. Here we go, Lucas thought as he neared a white ceiling. The ceiling retracted, dropping a large amount of snow onto Lucas and inviting a bone-chilling wind into the tunnel.

Lucas crossed his arms, amazed at the low temperature. I've never been this cold, he thought, Where am I?

Flickering torchlight illuminated the gray stone entry hall as muffled chatter penetrated the walls comprising the room. A tall Croconaw populated the space, his heart racing in anticipation of the event to come.

"Ok, I need to calm down and focus...." he said aloud, hoping to gain some advantage by clearing his mind. However, Lucas the Croconaw was not informed of the identity or strength of his opponent, making it difficult to dispel the ache of apprehension that wracked his being. I saw the pixel art you had in your gallery, and it's really good! What game were the Pokemon sprites from?

They are the sprites of the Pokemon when you put them in the pc. They started using these sprites in ruby and sapphire. The mudkip I just made.
